OBJECTIVES/PURPOSE
Positions Collaborates and provides support to a network of 160+ Plasma Center locations, in relation to supply chain operations and analytics.
Responsible to provide analytical support to the operations function under minimal supervision.
Incumbent proactively participates in processes improvement initiatives and makes recommendations for system refinements within the operations function.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Place purchase orders as needed for; new center openings, centers and 3rd party collections
Create cost saving opportunities through competitive bidding, negotiations, etc., while maintaining ethical practices and win-win outcomes for both parties.
Works closely with other functions to represent the business needs of the operations function.
Represents the operation function in the area of information technology and systems.
Develop understanding of all relevant purchasing/logistics processes to manage day-to-day activities such as open POs and inventory levels.
Supports program evaluation efforts and identifies opportunities for process improvement
Identify and initiate efforts to improve all facets of the demand planning and ordering processes.
Collaborate on improving Operations performance, productivity, efficiency, and profitability.
Performs cost benefit analysis for supplier efficiency programs and other supply chain projects that may affect Supply Chain KPIs
Coordinates across multiple organization and departments and responsible for communication of relevant information

EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:
Essential:
Minimum of three to five years professional experience.
Desired:
Three or more years of experience with: Database Management, Distribution/Supply operations, and Inventory/Order management systems such as Ariba, SAP.
