About the role:
Plasma-derived therapies are critical, life-saving medicines, which patients with rare and complex diseases around the world rely on every day. Global demand for these therapies, particularly immunoglobulins, has increased dramatically over the last 15 years, and continues to grow. Takeda is established as second largest provider of plasma-derived therapies (PDT) globally. Leveraging on 75+ year pioneering legacy, Takeda believes there is tremendous potential to do more to meet expectations of patients and health care providers with plasma-derived therapies for patients with immunologic, hematologic, autoimmune and other complex diseases.
As an Operations Support Specialist based in our Bannockburn, IL office, you will provide expertise on global Takeda and Data, Digital & Technology (DD&T). You will engage level three support for critical applications and have exposure on understanding end to end important applications including CD/CI deployments, integrations, infrastructure, containerizations, database, Openshift, network, and Security technologies. As part of the PDT DDT team, you will report to the Associate Director IT Operations PDT.
How you will contribute:
Analyze and review the code for major and minor enhancements
Provide architecture and design improved recommendations
Engage level 3 support for break fixes, bug fixes, review the complaints to enhance the code
Ensure incident, change, problem management, Jira process is completed
Flexible to have meetings with the product team to discuss and improve DevOps process and issues
Analyze end-to-end code and provide performance improvements
Onboard training and process for application updates to L1/L2/L3 support team
Support major incidents for application platform on MIM bridges
Research and suggest new DevOps process and automation
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Minimum 5-7 Years expertise with VB.Net, C#, AWS, IIS, APIs, DevOps and SQL Experience as application product specialist
SalesForce and Power BI experience
Experience in Agile, Scrum methodologies
Experience providing end-to-end application platform support working in regulated industry
Experience facilitating and driving major incident bridges
Experience supporting application and infrastructure function in retail and life sciences-oriented environment
Experience working with and training IT third-party vendors
Bachelor's degree required
