Job Description

This Plasma-Derived Therapies (PDT) role will provide expertise on global Takeda and Data, Digital & Technology (DD&T) IT Information Library (ITIL) processes and help improve and create integrated global DD&T ITIL processes. 

Responsibilities:

Attend global incident/change/problem/release/CMDB/knowledge meetings.  Hold DD&T weekly change meeting.  Hold DD&T monthly problem and MIM meetings. Help monitor and co-ordinate DD&T product releases and GDT patching and platform releases. Supervise and provide metrics on DD&T incident, knowledge, change and problem processes.  Meet with BioLife center operations on regular basis to identify gaps and to improve the use of knowledge articles.  Help educate DD&T, support vendors and other teams on service management process.  Ensure to improve the quality of tickets in Service Now. Provide and present reporting on vendor SLA and KPIs. Review SOPs are up to date with technical document writer.  Work with Service Now team to ensure CI and workflows are aligned with PDT DD&T process.  Train as backup to other PDT DD&T team members.

Key Skills, Abilities, and Competencies

  • High attention to detail.  Understanding role of ITIL support in regulated environment.  Ability to present and organize performance data in meaningful way.  Ability to successfully influence and interact with all levels and departments within PDT globally.

Complexity and Problem Solving

  • Ability to lead and operate indepently.  Understanding of when issues are out of scope of authority and when to escalate.

Internal and External Contacts

  • DD&T Support and Services Team, DD&T Product Teams, L1/L2/L3 support vendors.  GDT ITIL, GDT global operations.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years previous experience providing ITIL expertise working in highly regulated industry. 

  • Previous experience supporting ITIL function in retail-oriented environment. 

  • Experience working with and training IT managed service vendors.

  • Bachelor's degree required.

  • Desired:  ITIL certified.  Knowledge of plasma collection operations.  Stay current and certified on ITIL processes.
